Excursions with a View
There are extensive team-building options at the adjacent Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center, which lies across the road from the hotel. It has 28 miles of trails for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing, as well as equipment rentals. The Glen House is situated at the foot of the legendary Mt. Washington Auto Road, and meeting breaks can include a spectacular SnowCoach excursion that travels four and a half miles up the snow-covered Auto Road to the tree line at approximately 4,200 feet on the 6,288-foot mountain. It’s a rare opportunity to experience the most dramatic sub-arctic winter experiences in the White Mountain range. On a clear day, you can see the Atlantic Ocean to the southeast and north into Canada.
