In mid-December, Glen House guests can book a ride on the Mt. Washington SnowCoach and travel four and a half miles up the snow-covered Mt. Washington Auto Road to the tree line, at approximately 4,200 feet. It's a rare opportunity to experience the most dramatic sub-arctic winter conditions in the White Mountain range. On a clear day, you can see the Atlantic Ocean to the southeast and north into Canada.

Pups Are Welcome Too
Dogs are always welcome at The Glen House. Just ask for a dog-friendly guest room and bring along a loyal four-legged companion for fun in the snow. Pet Policy: A nightly pet fee of $20 will apply, which includes the use of a doggie water bowl, as well as treats. Based on supply, which is first-come, first-served.
